Our little ones ☀️
I'm the mother of three kids and have lived right here at 3635 Normandy Avenue for 16 years. I'm an ECE III educator with current Standard First Aid and CPR training, licensed with the Ministry of Education to run a group home daycare — where children explore through play, practice kindness, and build confidence in routines that make them feel safe and known.
"All children are competent learners — they just need the chance to show their creativity."
Your child will thrive in our caring and supportive space, where learning happens through play, exploration, and connection. From licensed safety and healthy meals to hands-on creative learning, here's what makes Normandy Daycare different from the rest.

We're at 3635 Normandy Avenue, in the Normandy Heights neighbourhood of South Regina — close to schools, parks, and easy transit access.
We're open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. We're closed on weekends and statutory holidays, December 25–26, and two Eid days each year (notice is always given ahead of time).
Children from 8 months to 12 years, across four programs: Little Buds (8–19 months), Wild Sprouts (20–29 months), Sunshine Class (30 months–6 years), and Trailblazers (6 years, Grade 1, to 12 years).
Our daycare space is on the basement level of our home, set up specifically for children's play, meals, and nap time.
We lead with positive language and role-model good choices, redirecting off-task behaviour with gentle or firm reminders. If disruption continues, a child gets a calm-down moment followed by a one-on-one talk, and we stay in close communication with parents throughout.
Circle time with songs and stories, art and sensory activities, daily outdoor play in our fenced backyard (weather permitting), puzzles and games, and quiet rest time — all matched to each child's age and stage.
Abida is an ECE III educator with current Standard First Aid and CPR training. Yes, there's also a full-time assistant with current CPR and a clear criminal record check, and all 5 adults in the home have clear criminal record checks.
A nutritious lunch plus a morning and afternoon snack every day, with an extra snack at 4 pm for school-age kids. Any special diets or allergies are accommodated — just let us know.
Active supervision at all times, with two adults on daily walks
The yard is fenced on all sides, and doors stay closed during outdoor play
We ask for 24 symptom-free hours before your child returns, to keep everyone healthy
Medications are only given with a parent's written permission, kept locked away
"We plan engaging activities that match the developmental needs of every child — because every child deserves opportunities to express their creativity."
